Ok I love these, they are my new favorite primal dessert! (I did add some agave nectar to mine cause they didn't seem quite sweet enough for me.)

The second time I made them I poured the whole thing into a shallow container and froze it for a few hours - the result was like almost a scoopable ultra-rich fudge ice cream. Insanely good!

My only problem now is not eating way too much! Thank you for the recipe, I would have never come up with this one on my own!

these looked awesome so I made them and they looked great but tasted awful, I was very disappointed, I guess I was expecting more "chocolate" flavor but they had to much of a bitter taste I threw them out.

Love all the other recipes I have tried though.

Hey, tried making these yesterday. I decided to double the recipe so I'd use the whole can of coconut milk, but forgot to double the coconut oil and vanilla. Whoops. They still taste great, though. Thanks for the recipe!

Was lucky enough to have SoG hand me one o' these dino turds today and they were delicious. I normally don't like fudge either so I was pleasantly surprised.

Joe M,
Hope you like them. I am not sure what is necessary and what is not so feel free to play around with them. You will probably be fine without the egg white powder. Rolling in cocoa powder sounds like an awsome idea!

Marc,
That does sound pretty straight forward. I have never been a fudge fan so this is my first time making it. I had no recipe to really go off, the ingredients just seemed to make sense. I like them though because they are not overly sweet. These "romantic truffles" don't sound too sweet either and are probably well worth a try. My wife... just doesnt really like chocolate (sweet or not).

I agree with you and your wife....
Your wife is way cool for not ackowledging your childish behavior in naming these....
and YOU are way cool for coming up with the perfect name for these.
;-)

Timing is everything, I just read a recipe this weekend for romantic truffles. Heavy cream, butter and dark or semi sweet chocolate and unsweetend cocoa powder. Seemed pretty straight forward. You ever try something like that?
